Download the Universal App and Know How to Use It
This App is very useful for your park days, and a must have in our opinion! You can keep an eye out on park hours, ride times, mobile order quick service meals, and get virtual queue passes! There are many helpful features on this app and it has become a must have for your trip. We really enjoy the wait time alert feature!
One of the app’s most useful features is the option to view wait times without having to visit the actual attraction or find the tip board. If you’re monitoring the wait time of a certain ride to see when it goes down, you can actually set an alert so the app will let you know when the wait time for the selected attraction falls under a certain time. Incredibly useful!
We recommend that you become comfortable with the app and how to use it before the start of your vacation. It’s very important to have some things completed before your trip. If you’re a client of Wave of the Wand Travel we do all of the setup for you.
To start, download the app! Universal Orlando’s official mobile app is a free download for iOS and Android smartphones. To use the features of the app, sign in or create a Universal Orlando account once the app is launched, you’ll want to set up your wallet.
Wallet is the home for all your tickets, Express Passes, and credit cards. Before arrival make sure to add your credit card and a ticket to Wallet for entry into the park, mobile ordering. To open the Wallet either select the side menu then tap Wallet or tap on the blue circle in the lower right of the window with the Wallet icon.
Credit Cards – Add a credit card for purchases. Open the Wallet and select “Add a Payment Method”. Here you will enter your credit card information by typing or taking a photo of the front of your card.
Tickets, Passes, & Express Pass – To add a ticket select “Scan Tickets & Add Ons” to scan the back of your ticket media or enter your ticket number (located under the barcode).
Something else to note is this app can be glitchy. Be sure to screen shot mobile orders, and virtual queue confirmations. To help avoid the app from slowing or glitching stay off Universal’s wifi.
